often after winter
Service002 - lance, leak
Service003 - feeding valve, leak
Service004 - filter, weak liquid
flow

not available

liquid flow
Service007 - lack of pressure in
TITAN, block of pump handle
Service001
- handle, valve, leak, most
often after winter:
Symptom:
The handle of lance is
leaking after winter season.
Reason:
A) Broken handle or valve -
the unit has been blown up from
inside by the frozen water.
You should always leave your
sprayer empty for winter
storing.
B) The valve or hose nut is not
tightly enough screwed.
Solution:
A) Replace the unit (R020j)
B) Screw the elements or replace
the seal
Concern series:
Profession, Hobby, Titan,
Profession Plus, Industry, Auto
- Washer, dis.Infector
Service002 - lance, leak
Symptom:
The lance is spraying despite
the feeding valve (R020j) is
closed.
Reason:
The upper seal of piston in
feeding valve is damaged. This
happens mainly if it has not
been smeared with silicone smear
(Z05).
Solution:
Replace the seals or piston
(alternatively whole valve
R020j).
Smear with Marolex silicone
smear Z05.
The silicone smear is available
in the following kits: Z05, Z06,
Z08j, Z08jV, Z08b, Tit37,
Tit37v, Z08m
Concern series:
Profession, Hobby, Titan,
Profession Plus, Industry, Auto
- Washer, dis.Infector
Service003 - feeding valve,
leak
Symptom:
The feeding valve leaks.
Reason:
The upper seal of piston in
feeding valve is probably
damaged, most likely because of
not smearing periodically with
silicone smear Z05
Solution:
Replace the seals or piston
(alternatively whole valve
R020j).
Smear with Marolex silicone
smear Z05.
The silicone smear is available
in the following kits: Z05, Z06,
Z08j, Z08jV, Z08b, Tit37,
Tit37v, Z08m
Concern series:
Profession, Hobby, Titan,
Profession Plus, Industry, Auto
- Washer, dis.Infector
Service004 - filter, weak
liquid flow
Symptom:
Weak liquid flow despite
maximum pressure in the tank.
Reason:
Polluted filter R40
Solution:
Unscrew the hose, take out
the filter R40, clean or replace
it.
The filter R40 is available in
the following kits: R40, Z08j,
Z08jV, Z08b, Tit37, Tit37v.
Concern series:
Profession, Hobby, Titan,
Industry, Auto - Washer,
dis.Infector
Service005 - maximum pressure
not available
Symptom:
Block of pump handle, the
handle cannot be moved in any
direction.
Reason:
Probably the rubber valve
balls have swollen in contact
with aggressive chemicals in the
sprayer` s pump.
Marolex have eliminated this
problem by introducing, in March
2006, balls made of technical
glass / (GVS - System).
Marolex patent pending no. P -
379370. Technical details
Solution:
In older models with
rubber balls in pump` s valve you should:
Demount the pump unit by
removing the lever tie(T20) from
the pump and unscrewing the pump
nut. Remove the pump unit and
the mixer, disassembly the pump
into two parts: white element
(T24 pump cover) and black
element (T5 pump). Unscrew the
nuts from these elements (T16
and T15) under which the balls
are placed. Replace the rubber
balls with glass ones and mount
the pump - follow the above
instructions in reverse order.
While mounting back the pump
smear the O-ring (T11) with
silicone smear (Z06)
This problem occurs very rarely
(ca. 1/300 users of older
Titan).
Concern series:
Titan 12, 16, 20
Service006 - not continuous
liquid flow
Symptom:
Water bubbles in the hose or
the flow of water is not
continuous.
Reason:
The intake pipe (M08) is not
fully pushed into the hose end
tip (R82c)
Solution
Unscrew the hose from the
tank, take the intake pipe out
and push it into it - if
necessary use appropriate glue.
